I was reading 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 and the last part really stood out to me suddenly.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds⦠bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
āØAND being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilledāØ
Many want to rebuke the enemy, tear down strongholds, and walk in spiritual power, but there is a key principle: our obedience must first be complete.
God is saying OBEDIENCE is the key to authority.
Obedience is what positions us to enforce Godās will over everything that opposes His truth.
You canāt tear down strongholds in others if youāre still allowing them to stand in your own life. Before we correct disobedience around us, we must first allow God to correct us. This is why Paul says, āwhen your obedience is fulfilled.ā š¤Æ
If we entertain fear, we canāt rebuke it.
If we live in compromise, we canāt call others into holiness.
If we allow deception, we canāt expose the enemyās lies.
Partial obedience only leaves you vulnerable! The enemy has no obligation to flee from someone who doesnāt walk in full submission to Christ (James 4:7).
Obedience is the fruit of a life FULLY submitted to Christ.
What does your fruit say about you? šµš¾āāļø
Say this prayer with me šš¾:
Lord,
Search my heart and expose anything in me that resists Your will. I donāt want partial obedienceāI want to be fully submitted so that I may walk in true authority.
Teach me to surrender in the secret places, so I can stand firm in spiritual warfare. Break every compromise, silence every fear, and align my life with Your truth.
Let my obedience be complete, so I can stand as a vessel of power and purityāready to enforce Your Kingdom on earth.
In Jesusā name, Amen.
