Many people give too much credit to witchcraft, voodoo, hexes, and word curses, believing that someone else’s words or intentions can dictate their fate. But here’s the truth: no human being has the power to bring misfortune upon another through their words alone.

In fact, when people speak evil over others, they often bring their own words back upon themselves. Only God holds the authority to supernaturally decree blessings or curses.

What Does the Bible Say?

“The Lord Himself will send curses upon you…” (Deuteronomy 28:20)

“The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the righteous.” (Proverbs 3:33)

If God has not initiated a curse, it has no power. A spoken curse without divine authority is empty, powerless, and ineffective.

An Undeserved Curse Has No Power

Proverbs 26:2 gives us a powerful promise:

“Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse will NOT land on its intended victim.”

This means that if someone tries to curse you, their words have no foundation, no authority, and no ability to take effect.

Biblical Proof: Balaam and the Failed Curse

When Balak, King of Moab, hired Balaam to curse Israel, Balaam responded:

“How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced?” (Numbers 23:8)

The answer is simple: YOU CAN’T.

If God has covered and blessed you, no spoken word, spell, or hex can touch you.

Walk in Confidence, Not Fear!

As a child of God, you are shielded from every false word and attack. No human has the power to alter your destiny with their words.

So stand firm. Trust in God’s promises. Live in the confidence that you are covered, protected, and untouchable in Christ.

Say this prayer with me 🙏🏾:

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today, standing on the truth of Your Word. You are my refuge, my shield, and my defender. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and no curse spoken against me shall take root.

Lord, I thank You that only You have the power to bless or curse, and because I am covered by the blood of Jesus, I am protected from every false word, every negative force, and every attack of the enemy.

Your Word declares in Proverbs 26:2 that an undeserved curse will not land, and in Numbers 23:8 that no one can curse what You have blessed. I declare that I am blessed, highly favored, and untouchable by the schemes of darkness.

Father, I release every fear, every worry, and every lie that has tried to take hold of my mind. I reject and renounce any spoken word or assignment against me that is not from You. Instead, I stand firm in Your promises of peace, protection, and victory.

Fill me with faith, Lord, and remind me daily that I walk in Your authority. Let my life be a testimony of Your power, love, and divine covering.
