Has God completely transformed your life? Do you have a testimony of His mercy, love, and power?
If so, I invite you to share your story—you never know how your testimony might encourage or even save someone else.
I’ll go first.
Growing up, I struggled with identity and belonging. As a military child, I moved frequently and rarely felt a true sense of home. I was often surrounded by people who didn’t look like me, and as I grew older, I wrestled with where I fit in. Seeking acceptance and love, I searched in all the wrong places, leading me down a path filled with violence, loss, and near-death experiences.
By age 24, I had seen things no one should ever witness—drugs, greed, racism, and even murder. I was nearly killed in a drive-by shooting, and as I sat in a car filled with bullet holes, I watched my life flash before my eyes. A detective recognized me from a prior homicide investigation and told me:
“I don’t know who you are young lady, but God has a plan for your life. I suggest you find out what it is.”
But I still didn’t listen.
Months later, my mother invited me to church, and as I sat in the pew, the Word of God pierced my heart. The pastor spoke about the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:18-21), and I saw myself in the story—a seed struggling to take root. That week, God began to open my eyes to the people around me, revealing that those I called “friends” were never truly for me.
Then, one night, as I wept alone in my living room, God showed up.
The presence of the Lord met me right there on the floor, and when I woke up the next morning, I was a new person! Joy and peace flooded my soul. God breathed new life into me! From that moment on, He began speaking to me, leading me, and giving me visions.
His presence in my life became undeniable. People noticed the change before I even spoke a word about it. I started seeing God move through me, touching people around me—even strangers. But with my transformation came spiritual warfare.
Shortly after I gave my life to Christ, I faced devastating losses—including the death of my sister and my father’s long battle with illness. I wrestled with why God had saved me when others around me didn’t make it. I struggled with my identity in Christ, feeling unworthy and undeserving of His mercy. For years, I ran from my calling, trying to live with one foot in the world and one foot in the kingdom.
Then in 2018, God spoke clearly to me:
“You cannot serve two masters. You have to choose who you will serve.”
So I chose God. TUH! 🤌🏾
And when I fully surrendered, He began to clean up my life immediately.
A few years later, the Lord shared two things with me:
1. His love is UNFAILING. No matter how I saw myself, what mattered was how He saw me—and who He called me to be.
2. I am REDEEMED. God had reclaimed me, bought me back, and restored what was once lost.
That revelation set me free to walk boldly in my faith, without fear or apology.
Of course, there is so much more to my story, but if there’s one thing I want you to know, it’s this:
GOD KEPT ME. 🙌🏾
And if He can keep me, He can keep you too.
Now it’s your turn—what’s your testimony? Drop your story in the comments. You never know how your words might change someone’s life!
Do you need to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
Say this prayer🙏🏾:
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today, knowing that I need You. I confess that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. But I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for my sins, and that He rose again to give me eternal life.
Lord Jesus, I invite You into my heart. Be my Lord, my Savior, and my King. Wash me clean, make me new, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I repent and turn away from my old life and surrender fully to You.
From this day forward, I choose to follow You, love You, and serve You with all my heart. Thank You for forgiving me, saving me, and giving me new life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
